Back in 1962, Jeep introduced a vehicle by the name of Wagoneer. The luxury 4x4 station wagon would lay the foundation for what would eventually become the traditional sport utility vehicle body style. In 1984, the brand would rebadge the vehicle, upgrading its name to the Grand Wagoneer, which gives us the roots of the vehicle joining the lineup for the 2022 model year. That model lasted until the 1991 model year when the vehicle was discontinued but enjoyed a brief resurgence as a top-of-the-line trim level for the Grand Cherokee during the 1993 and 1994 model years. Now, the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer makes an incredible option here in Uvalde TX, a full-size luxury SUV unlike any other on the lineup.
On today’s market, to be a flagship luxury utility vehicle, you have to be packed full of incredible and advanced technologies. That’s probably why the Grand Wagoneer will offer up to 75 inches of total screen space within its cabin. That includes things like its 12” infotainment systems, the 10.25” passenger screen, a pair of 10.25” HVAC displays including an articulating screen for the front and a fixed one for the rear, the 12.3” digital instrument cluster, a pair of 10.2” rear-seat entertainment touchscreens, and more.
That’s just covering the number and size of screens, it doesn’t even touch on the different things you can do with all of them. We also didn’t mention the incredible, industry-first McIntosh 1,375-watt premium audio system that features 234 speakers and a 12” subwoofer. Connectivity and entertainment are at your fingertips from almost every seat in the vehicle, and there is so much more to get excited about in the cabin of the Grand Wagoneer, not to mention around the exterior of the vehicle as well and within its engineer.
For instance, the 2022 Grand Wagoneer is powered by a 6.4L V8 engine that’s capable of generating up to 471 horsepower alongside 455 pound-feet of torque tethered to an 8-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission.
